4-H Geology State Field Trip 2026

Final information for the 2026 Kansas 4-H Geology Field Trip will be posted as soon as registration information is available. This year the field trip will be held in the Southeastern part of the state (Headquarters to be announced with Registration coming) The 2026 Dates are June 12-14.

Open to 4-H Geology project members and their families.

The advertisement below is from 2025. It will be replaced when we have final information.

All participants, including family members or accompanying adults, must pre-register for the event.

WHEN: June 13-15

WHERE: The headquarters for the 2025 4-H Geology State Field Trip is Cloud County Community College in Concordia, KS.

WHAT: A variety of workshops and activities are planned for Friday and Saturday evenings.

• Several different stops are planned on the Field Trip Saturday and Sunday
• Project members are encouraged to participate in judging and quiz bowl
• A catered supper will be provided Saturday evening for $15.00 per person and we will have a variety of educational publications for sale through the Kansas Geological Survey

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 16th - NOW CLOSED

• You must register all those who plan to attend including siblings ages 0-18 and all adults 19 and up
• One registration per person
• NO LATE REGISTRATIONS and NO registrations at the door
• Cancellations on or before May 16, 2025, will be charged a 50% cancellation fee
• Cancellations after May 16, 2025, will be charged the full base registration fee

COST:

• Registration - $10.00 per person
• Guidebooks - $5.00 each
• T-Shirts - $20.00 each

Geology Boxes: (Some woods may be limited) Everything must be ordered through registration
